Terms & Conditions
By using GotYaTrade you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Our role
GotYaTrade is an introduction platform. We connect homeowners with tradespeople. We are not a party to any contract agreed between a homeowner and a tradesperson, we do not carry out work, and we do not supervise work.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and be 18 or over. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
3. Homeowners
Post genuine jobs with accurate details. Agree scope, price and timings directly with the tradesperson you choose. Payment is arranged between you and the tradesperson; GotYaTrade does not handle payments for work.
4. Tradespeople
You must hold the qualifications, registrations and insurance required by law for the work you offer, and keep them current. Information submitted for verification must be true and yours. Misrepresenting credentials will result in removal.
5. Verification
A verified badge means our team reviewed documents submitted by that business. It is not a guarantee of workmanship, an endorsement, or a warranty. Homeowners should still carry out their own checks.
6. Content and conduct
Do not post unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringing content. Reviews must reflect genuine experience of work arranged through the platform. We may remove content and suspend accounts following moderation.
7. Fees
Posting a job is free for homeowners. During our launch phase there are no subscription or lead fees for tradespeople. If that changes we will give clear notice before any charge applies.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, GotYaTrade is not liable for the acts, omissions, quality of work, or agreements of users. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
